OWN A PIECE OF
THE LEGACY.
In 1997, Shabhaz Ganny opened the first Darbar's on Liberty Avenue in Queens, New York. Armed with a passion for cooking and an unwavering commitment to halal ingredients, he set out to serve honest, flavorful food to his community.
Word spread fast. Darbar's became more than a restaurant β it became a gathering spot for neighbors, friends, and food lovers. The secret? Everything made fresh, every single day. That dedication to quality never wavered.
Over 25 years, Darbar's evolved into a full-on comfort food destination. The menu expanded from legendary fried chicken and ribs to include smash burgers, chicken sandwiches, fried rice, lo-mein, and more β all crafted with the same care that built Darbar's from the ground up.

What customers say:
Pretty solid spot with affordable food if you're not looking to break the bank just for having lunch. The place is medium sized, with enough room to eat in which was no problem to me since there were only 2 other customers in the spot at the time. I wasn't really sure what to order at the moment so I went for Chicken ... w/ Rice, Mozzarella sticks and Mango lemonade. The Chicken and Rice looked kinda messy, also not a fan of the amount of onions they put in there but don't let the setup of the food fool you, it's pretty good with the white sauce being a complimentary condiment for the salad alongside with it. The Mozzarella sticks were decent but had a bit too much breading, which would've been perfect if they had marinara sauce...they did not, kind of a miss on that part. The Mango lemonade to me was the better part of the meal, nice, cool and delicious. That lemonade sure hit the spot. Service was pretty decent, the food arrival took a little longer than I cared for but the food was fresh and hot so can't complain much about timing. Next time around I'll sample their fried chicken, which is what I should've done to begin with really. Read More

Meow Meow!!! My name is Mickey and I'm a world travelling black cat from Australia. This is the 2nd time I've been to Darbars and the ribs here are our of this world. I appreciated the litterbox these guys provided under my table and the wait staff were great. Any cat that is visiting New York as a tourist or any cat ... from the local area has to try this place at least once in their life!! Meow Regards Mickey the Cat πββ¬πΈ Read More
His chakra healing session was intense in the best way. He worked on my third eye awakening first, which gave me vivid clarity and intuition spikes. Then he focused on heart chakra healing, where he said I carried grief I never acknowledged. By the end I felt balanced and emotionally clearer than Iβve felt in years.
